1. Our Commitment
YallAmigo ("we," "our," or "us") operates the YallAmigo: Multilingual Chat application (the "App"), a real-time messaging service with AI-powered translation. We are committed to providing a safe environment for all users and we maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form.
These standards are published in accordance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy. They describe the conduct we prohibit, how child safety concerns can be reported, and how we respond to them — including our handling of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
2. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on YallAmigo and constitute grounds for immediate account termination and referral to the relevant authorities:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or storing any visual, audio, or written content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors.
- Child sexual exploitation: Any behavior that sexually exploits or abuses a minor, including sexual extortion ("sextortion"), sexualized commentary about or directed at a minor, and the production or distribution of exploitative content.
- Grooming: Contacting or befriending a minor with the intent of sexual abuse or exploitation, online or offline, including attempts to obtain sexual content from or arrange meetings with a minor.
- Trafficking and solicitation: Advertising, soliciting, or facilitating any form of sexual contact with a minor.
- Circumvention: Using coded language, translation features, invite links, or any other functionality of the App to attempt any of the above.
3. Age Requirements
The App is not directed at children. As set out in our Privacy Policy, users must be at least 18 years old to use the App. This exceeds the minimum age of digital consent in every jurisdiction where the App is offered. Accounts identified as belonging to users under 18 are removed.
4. In-App Reporting
YallAmigo allows users to report child safety concerns directly in the App:
- Users can report messages, conversations, and other users from within the App. Reports are reviewed and acted on promptly.
- Conversation hosts can remove or block any participant, including guests, at any time.
- Guest participants must be explicitly approved by a conversation host before they can see or send any message, and their access can be revoked at any time.
Child safety concerns can also be reported to us directly by email at admin@yallamigo.com. Please include as much detail as possible (usernames, conversation context, timestamps). We prioritize and review child-safety reports ahead of all other report categories.
5. Content Moderation and Enforcement
We combine automated and human review to detect and act on CSAE:
- Automated moderation: Content transmitted through the App may be scanned by automated moderation systems to detect harmful or policy-violating content, including content that may endanger children.
- Human review: Flagged content and user reports are reviewed, and moderation events are logged for audit purposes.
- Enforcement actions: Violations of these standards result in immediate removal of the offending content and permanent termination of the responsible account. We do not offer appeals for CSAE violations.
6. Reporting to Authorities
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM on our service, we:
- Remove the content immediately and preserve it as evidence in accordance with applicable law;
- Terminate the responsible account; and
- Report the incident to the relevant regional and national authorities, including Spanish law enforcement (Policía Nacional / Guardia Civil) and, where applicable, to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the corresponding hotline in the jurisdiction concerned (e.g., members of the INHOPE network).
We cooperate with law enforcement requests relating to child safety in accordance with applicable law.
7. Compliance with Child Safety Laws
YallAmigo complies with all relevant child safety laws in the jurisdictions where the App is offered, including EU and Spanish law applicable to our service. These standards are reviewed regularly and updated as legal requirements and industry best practices evolve.
